Dear Praying Brethern,

Greetings in our Lord Jesus Christ with thanksgiving for you. At the beginning of this year when we began planning in earnest for this short furlough, it seemed it would never get here. There was a lot of work to prepare for our coming here while we still had our hands busy with the work there. Furlough seemed that it was a world away. Now it seems that it has flown by.

Dear Praying Friends,

We are in regular contact with brethren in Chile and Mexico. In Chile, small earthquakes continue as a frequent occurrence, several per week, and sometimes several per day. These are minor and common, in comparison to the big one that occurred last February. After that one, 67,000 jobs were lost due to the destruction. Good news for Andres is that after losing his job near the end of May, with due diligence in praying and job hunting, the Lord gave him a new job after about one month. The Lord blessed that as a learning experience for him and Fabiola.

Dear Friends, July 13, 2010

We are presently in the last week of a short trip to the USA. We are scheduled to return to Mexico on Monday, July 19th. Right now some of the main highways and bridges into Mexico are closed due to the recent tropical storm that left most of Laredo, TX, under water. We are considering our options for crossing at another location, if the situation in Laredo does not improve in the next few days. The main roads from Laredo to Monterrey are also closed, so this makes the trip to Mexico City more difficult. The security situation along the Mexico-USA border is not good. The flooding and road closures have made things more complicated.

Report Letter For March and April 2010
May 1, 2010
Dear Pastor Brown, and members of Sherwood Baptist Church,
It seems inconceivable that half of the year 2010 is already behind us, but it is true. May and June
have been very busy months.
