News From the Field

We have received news this month that Bro. Jun (the man who is currently heading up the Printing Ministry) and his wife have lost their baby. She had carried every thing seemed fine. Even in the delivery everything appeared to be ok, but shortly after they arrived home with the baby, this precious little girl only a few hours old drew her last breath. Bro. Jun and his wife Rowena are of course devastated, please pray for them.

Mission Needs

Help with the departure expenses such as:

  • Air fare
  • Passports and Paper work
  • Shipping of some things back to the field

Furlough Almost Over

The time of our departure is quickly drawing nigh. This is always a time of greatly mixed emotions. Some of the children are excited about going back while others are very sad. And as any parent knows, we want our children to be happy and hurt for them when they are sad. But if happiness must come at the experience of disobedience, then we must obey and remember that we have all eternity to be happy.

As for my wife and I, we have both been as busy as a one legged carpenter ant massaging a blue whale?s back. Preparing our place here in Ohio to be shut down for 4 years is always a job. Paper work and pictures for passports and packing boxes to send back to the field. Now of all things just this morning my wife seems to be coming down with the flu. Please keep us in your prayers as we prepare for our departure.

Thanks to those who have sent cards and notes of encouragement and also thanks to those who have so faithfully supported this ministry.
