Missionary Dan Roten Update

Dear Praying Friends,

Thank you so much for your faithful prayers and support as we continue preparations for our move to Chile! I leave in a few minutes for a 3 week trip among the churches. Janet, Michael and Daniel are traveling with me this trip. We will be in at least 9 churches in Texas, Illinois and Wisconsin. Please pray for our safety on the road, and for the Lord's blessing in the meetings with the churches.

The U.S. dollar is really falling. I have watched over the last several weeks as the dollar has fallen from about 540 Chile pesos to 500 right now. The weak U.S. economy not only affects you here at home, but your missionaries abroad too. Please remember this in your prayers. Remember also the brethren both in Chile and Mexico. I have just sent 24 Bibles and 14 hymnals to Cardenas to replace those that had been lost to crime there.
