Report Letter For March and April 2010
May 1, 2010
Dear Pastor Brown, and members of Sherwood Baptist Church,
It seems inconceivable that half of the year 2010 is already behind us, but it is true. May and June
have been very busy months.

But God has really blessed. I closed out the month of April and began the
month of May in Bromley KY, preaching a revival meeting in Pleasant View Baptist Church, where Brother
Charles Hunt is pastor. I arrived home on Monday May 5, and the next day, Mary and I drove to Fort worth
TX, where I was speaking in the Annual Bible Conference, at Landmark Baptist Church, Where Brother
Jimmy Nelson is pastor. On Thursday, we drove from Fort Worth to Bayou Vista TX, near Galveston, and
spent a few days with our daughter and son-in-law, visiting with them, and with the grandchildren and great
grandchildren.
We drove home on Monday May 10, and about two hours after we arrived home, there was a storm
with hailstones the size of baseballs and a few as large as softballs. Our roof deck was penetrated with
several hailstones, as was almost every roof in the addition. The shingles on every roof in the addition, as
well as a lot of decking, had to be replaced, and every car that was outside was either destroyed or heavily
damaged. Every piece of guttering in the addition, and a lot of the windows were also destroyed. I had never
before seen hailstones penetrate the sod on the lawns, but that was everywhere. All we lack being totally
repaired is our front window, which we are still waiting on. God was merciful, however, because no one was
killed by the hail, and that would certainly have been possible.
Wednesday May 12, through Sunday May 16, I spoke in a revival meeting at Ella Grove Baptist
Church, in Glennville GA, where Brother Dwight Brooks is pastor. He is doing a great job there, in his first
pastorate, and his family is just wonderful to be with. On Saturday, May 29, I spoke at Bethel Baptist
Church, in Choctaw OK, where Brother Royce Smith is pastor, and on Sunday afternoon, May 30 I spoke
at Sherwood. I also spoke at Sherwood on Wednesday night, June 2, and twice at the federal prison, in El
Reno, OK, on June 3. On June 11 - 13, I was in the Annual Bible Conference at Grace Missionary Baptist
Church, in Dothan AL, where Brother Ed Colley is pastor. What some great Christian people God has
allowed me to know! On June 20, I had the privilege of Speaking Sunday Morning, at Sherwood Baptist
Church’s Annual Bible Conference, and on Sunday afternoon, to the preachers at Brother, Paul, and Sister
Susan Brown’s home. If I have not forgotten anything, I had the privilege of speaking at least 19 times
during these last two months. How very good the Lord is to us!
Our health has been good. We have both had a little trouble with what was probably some kind of
“viral bugs” during the period, but nothing to gripe about. We feel that our health is, comparatively
speaking, just wonderful. God has kept us safe in all our travel, and provided our every need, with great
blessings left over. We want to thank all our friends and loved-ones for your love and prayers. God bless
and keep all of you.
In brotherly love,
Forrest and Mary Keener
