Dear Praying Brethren,

Greetings by God's grace and faithfulness. We have been home on furlough for three weeks already. How time flies. Each day is full of visiting, driving, ministering and fellowshipping. The Lord has blessed with all of our needs met through the blessed generosity of many of you. Praise be to the Lord!

Our first Lord's Day in the States was spent at the Wooster Baptist Temple. There were several visitors for that occasion and dinner on the grounds. We did miss those saints who have gone on before us since our last visit. There were other members in nursing homes who could not come for the special service, but we found time to visit them. How wonderful is the fellowship with God's people. Truly our fellowship is with the Father and in His Son, Jesus Christ.

Another project for furlough was Joy's visit at the HomeschoolAlumni (HSA) reunion. Years past, Daniel and Ben have participated and now it was Joy's turn. The fellowship she had with friends was blessed.

Our car is working well and I don't know what I would have done with all our luggage had not Avis Rent-A-Car given us a free upgrade. We have to carry all our luggage with us and the intermediate size I had chosen could not have served us as well as the Toyota Camry.

Our itinerary for July follows:
July 4 – Sunday – Berea Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Bloomfield, NM
July 11 – Sunday – Grace Baptist Church in Claremore, OK
July 15–27 – Victory Baptist Church in Kansas City, MO

Bro. Marcelo from the church in Presidente Prudente asked for prayer for new services they are having in a rehabilitation center. A near relative was admitted there and the church has been asked to participate in the preaching there each week. Bro. Marcelo has asked for a supply of books that we print to use in that ministry. Because of your offerings, we can supply them all they need for free.

Thank you again for your care for us and all the other ministries through your prayers and giving. It is a joy to be workers together with you through those there on the field and here with us as we visit among many of you.

In Our Lord,
Bro. Calvin Gardner
