Forrest L. Keener Preaching Itinerary CURRENT ITINERARY FOR 2010 Note: Dear friends, Every time you read my itinerary, please know you have a prayer request from me. I desperately need the power of God upon my preaching every time I stand up. Please intercede for me in this matter. I increasingly realize that without that power, every evangelistic effort is an exercise in futility. FLK  (read Keener Thoughts in attachment below)

Report Letter For January and February 2010
March 1, 2010
Dear Pastor Brown, and members of Sherwood Baptist Church,
Believe it or not, 2010 is one sixth gone. We are all a little older and have suffered a few more failures. Just being sarcastic, humorously I hope. God has been so good to us, and our hearts should be, and I pray they are, filled with gratitude and praise every single day. Here in Central Oklahoma, we have experienced a rather severe winter. Some would have us believe it is caused by global warming, but I think God is still controlling the globe just as He pleases, and that man cannot defeat Him. As long as He controls earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, we should not boast of our earthly effect. Severe winters are as inconvenient as they are beautiful, but they also have great benefits to God’s earth, and along with hot summers, furnish a balance that He purposes, and that we need. Let us praise rather than complain.
Mary and I have experienced very good health hitherto, and we thank God for it every day. I take some medication regularly, but neither of us are having any ongoing treatment for anything. When I saw the throat doctor in the fall, it marked four and a half years since the cancer radiation. He said everything looked good, and he made my next appointment, a year in advance, rather than six months. We cannot help but to rise up each morning thanking God for our health, and God’s bountiful provision for us.
January and February have been very slack months, as concerning engagements. I brought two lessons, at the federal prison, in El Reno OK on January 7th and two more on January14th . I had an appointment on the 30th in Joplin MO, which had to be canceled because of severe weather. I preached once at the Annual Missions Conference, at Bethel Baptist Church, in Lawton, Oklahoma. This made a total of only five times during the entire two months. Of course, January and February are always slow months. It does appear that the year as a whole is shaping up to be pretty busy, even though not too much of the annual schedule is usually publishable this early in the year. My itinerary will show what I have solidified so far.
I want all of my friends to join me in praying about two special matters. First, I am asking you to pray daily for our churches across this country to be specially visited by the Holy Spirit. Without Him we are just having social gatherings, and our witnessing and preaching is empty. Secondly, I am asking you to pray for me personally, that I would be endued with the Holy Spirit wherever I preach. Without His filling I am essentially worthless. Thank all of you for your love and prayers, as well as your faithful financial supply.
In brotherly love,
Forrest and Mary Keener
