We have Moved to a New Temporary Location

We are moving from SW 39th in Oklahoma City to Hwy 37 in Newcastle.

We have sold the property in Oklahoma City. We have purchased property about 15 minutes - South and West of Oklahoma City in a town called Newcastle. This new property will require some renovating in order for the facility to suit our needs. During this transition, we will be meeting temporarily in the Disciples of Christ Christian Church facility only a few hundred yards to the east of the new property. This location is at the north end of Hwy 76, where it meets Hwy 37.

Our Sunday Service Times will also change during this transition.
Sunday Service: 1:30pm-2:45pm
Sunday School: 3:00pm-3:40pm
Fellowship Time: 3:40pm-4:00pm
2nd Service: 4:00pm-4:45pm
Wed. Evening Prayer Service: 7:00pm-8:30pm (Maybe changed to Thurs., we will let you know)

Driving Directions - Temporary Meeting Facility

From Oklahoma City -
1. Take I-44 West toward Chickasha/Lawton, after the long bridge crossing the S. Canadian River. There will be 3 exits.
2. Take the 2nd one - Exit 108. The leading sign will say Hwy 37 West - Tuttle Minco. This will exit to the right. (See Figure 2.1)
3. Take Hwy 37 West (3 miles) until you reach the Hwy 76 junction. This will be the second stop light.
4. The Temporary Meeting will be right there. Take a right at this stop light. This is also Council Ave. The sign will say Disciple Christian Church.(See Figure 2.2)
5. The Future Home of Sherwood Baptist Church will be another 1200 ft further on Hwy. 37 past the light - on the north side of the road.

From Norman -
1. Take Hwy. 9 West toward Newcastle (Exit 106 on I-35).
2. Exit at Hwy 62 to not pay the Toll. If you don’t mind the toll($0.35), Hwy 9 will turn into H.E. Bailey Spur, exit at Hwy 76. If you opt for this, skip to Step 4 below and add 2.25 miles - to make it 5.5 miles North on Hwy 76. (SAVES 5 -10 minutes)
2. Take Hwy. 62 North (4 miles) to Hwy 130 or Fox Lane - there is a stop light here.
3. Go left and take Hwy 130 West (3 miles) until it meets Hwy 76.
4. Go right and take Hwy 76 North (3 miles) until it meets Hwy 37.
5. The Temporary Meeting will be on the other side of the light and to the left. Go through this light (when green). The church sign will say Disciple Christian Church. (See Figure 2.2)
