REPORT FROM THAILAND
By Wayne Camp

Acts 15:3 And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.

It is with a great deal of joy that I write this report. We went to the first church that was started in this Thailand work (Pa Sak #1) for services on January 1, 2012. When the gong was sounded for the beginning of services people began to pour into the house of worship. When more than I had ever seen at this church were in the building I looked up and more were still coming in. They filled up every chair with the exception of two or three on the platform.

REPORT: THAILAND MISSIONS and BIBLE SCHOOL

Psalms 115:2-8 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God? (3) But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. (4) Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. (5) They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not: (6) They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not: (7) They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat. (8) They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.

Here in Thailand we are confronted on every hand with worship of idols and evil spirits.

When you are teaching Bible school as we are here there are good days, there are better days, and then there are great days. Today was one of those great days.
Today I was teaching in John, chapter 6. I was dealing with the disciples caught in a storm after dark. They were fearful. That fear was increased when they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming to them. In fact they cried out for fear because they thought he was a ghost for they had never seen a man walking on water. Matthew 14:26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
I reminded the students that in times of such stress and fear we need to remember the teaching of Romans 8:28. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
