It is our earnest prayer that this letter finds each of you growing
in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The month of November has been filled with some great highs
and some sad lows. November 15, Higher Ground Baptist

Prayer Letter
October 2009

Greetings to all in the name of our Lord and only able Savior Jesus Christ.
This past month for us here has no doubt been one of our busiest since we have come to the field.
OUR TRIP TO ROMBLON
On October 1st we were finally able to make the trip down to Romblon. We ended up having to make a short road out on the seashore in order to get around our neighbor’s wall. I was then able to get the truck in on to the property there at the Church.

Greetings to all of the Lord’s Churches and people from a severely storm stricken Philippine Islands.

Prayer Letter
August 2009

Greetings to all in the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Multitudes of the inhabitants of this earth are quick to lift their voices against our Savior now, but the day will come when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Oh what a day of great joy for the saints and immense grief for the sinners.

Greetings to all in the name far above all others, the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Our time of furlough has come and almost gone in the blink of an eye it seems. We are down to just 28 days and we will be leaving. Frankly there is always a great deal of anticipation involved when returning to the field,

News From the Field

We have received news this month that Bro. Jun (the man who is currently heading up the Printing Ministry) and his wife have lost their baby. She had carried every thing seemed fine. Even in the delivery everything appeared to be ok, but shortly after they arrived home with the baby, this precious little girl only a few hours old drew her last breath. Bro. Jun and his wife Rowena are of course devastated, please pray for them.

Dear Brethren,

ANOTHER SOUL SAVED!

Israel Figueroa has been coming to our church since 2004. He has attended our services regularly with his two younger brothers since he was fifteen. Being the oldest son, he took care of his paraplegic father until his father's death three years ago.
