Dear Pastor & Friends,

Greetings in the name that is above all names, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We are in the last month of this year 2007 and the world over must be ready for the coming our Saviour and God draweth nigh. The past two months have been real busy for us and many things have changed since I last wrote to you. Things are happening so fast that we are amazed at what is going on in our society and the world over. The scripture must be fulfilled. While we are seeing some souls saved, some are baptized and added to the church; some are falling away from the faith. We continue to labour steadfastly in the ministry trusting the Lord to save souls and keep those whom He has saved.

On November 25,2007, we baptized three persons in fellowship of the Roadside Church. They are from the mission work at Village #57 which is a mission out of Roadside Baptist Church. Due to lots of rain we are unable to get very much done in terms of land filling and fenceing. We do need your prayer and financial support towards this end. Thanks to those of you who have already contributed towards the mission building project. The cost of fuel is sky-high. Over $4.00 U.S. for a gallon of gas. Most of our products have increased prices because of the high cost for fuel. We have to raise about nineteen thousand U.S. towards the building project. We are confident that our Lord will provide the means for the building of His house of worship.

I am happy to let you know that Nalin and I are grandparents. Our son and his wife are now living and working in Lewiston, Florida. The ministries continue in a more challengeing way. The men that are involved in the ministry continue to serve faithfully. Keep praying for us. We thank you for your prayers and financial support. Our love and regards to all in the Lord.

Yours in Christ,
Almond & Nalin Katryan

Dearly Beloved,

Greetings in the Lord. It is always a privilege to write to you concerning the ministries here in Guyana. First of all, we wish to thank you for your faithful prayers and financial suppport for us over the years. Some of you have received first hand reports of hte work here from Pastor Jonathan Turner of the Southside Baptist Church in Winter Haven, Florida and Pastor John Hunter of the Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Annistan, Alabama.

The work continues to be a great challenge to all of us as we continue to labor inour Master's service. Please pray with us for the need of $6,000 to purchase a piece of land and to erect a building. We would design and construct the building ourselves. The money is to help pay for the land and materials. Having the building means less transportation costs. There will be no need for the 30 seater bus. We are hoping to do this at all our missions so as to keep the transportation costs down. There is every reason to believe that one of the three missions wil soon be organized into a local Baptist church. Please pray with us towards this end.

Enclosed are some deposits slips. Please fill out the deposit slips and take it to any Bank of America in your area or mail it to the one in Coral Springs, Florida. If you need further information, kindly email at almondkatryan7@hotmail.com.

Dear Brethren,

Greeting in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. It is always a joy to write to let you know how the Lord continues to bless the work which He has started; even in Guyana. We also would like you to know how that we do appreciate your faithful prayers and financial support for us and the ministries here.

We have had some sickness, deaths, professions of faith, and immigrations since I last wrote to you. Thanks be to God for His sustaining grace. We know that our labour is not in vain in the Lord. There are many new faces in our regular services. In having the bus, we are able to combine the evening services of both churches so that we dan better feed the flock.

Nanlin has improved tremendously though some swelling is still around the ankle. She can manage to get around. I am doing real well by God's grace. The brethren with us salute you in the Lord. Our love and regards to all of you in the Lord.

Dear Beloved,

Greetings in the name of the name of our soon coming King. It is always a joy to let you know of the affairs of the work of the Lord here in Guyana. We are indeed thankful for your fervent prayers, financial, and every other support of us and the work here. We wish to thank all of you for your special support towards the bus. It is already in use in the ministries at both churches.

We keep pressing on towards the mark of our high calling in Christ. The ministries of both churches are encouraging despite the many difficulties. On Sunday morning of July 3, one woman who made a profession of faith, came before the church at Corriverton requesting baptism. Her husband, who was a member, rededicated his life. We have many new faces in our services; especially at Roadside.

I held a training session for church workers on July 4th. Six of our men and one woman attended. Please continue to be praying for the spiritual and numerical growth while we labour with great expectation to see souls saved.

Nalin is doing much better and hopes to have the cast removed this week if the doctor says it is ok. Lots of rain at this time and the farmers are affected badly. Our love and regards to all in the Lord.

Yours in Christ,

Almond & Nalin Katryan

Dear Beloved,

Greetings in the precious name of our Mediator and soon coming King. We are pleased to let you know that God is good to us in very many ways and He is able to bless abundantly above what we can ask or think. We thank you for our continued prayer, financial, and other support for us and the ministries here in Guyana.

We rejoice in the Lord that a young man was accepted by the church at Roadside by statement of faith three weeks ago. He was a member of a Baptist church in Surinam, our neighboring country. There are several new faces atttending the regular services a both churches. We stand in need of your prayer as we continue to preach the Word with fear and trembling. We are trusting the Lord to continue to save souls and to strengthen those whom He has already saved.

We have the money to pay for the fifteen seater bus for the ministries of both churches but we need to raise $22,000(U.S.) to pay for the duty and other taxes if the government does not grant duty-free concession we applied for two months ago. The taxes are higher because the bus is 2.9 litre . Please be praying with us towards this end.

We wish to thank all of you for your prayer for Nalin's speedy recovery. The x-ray shows that 50% of the fracture is already healed. The doctor said that she will have to keep the cast on for another nine weeks.

Yours in Christ,
Almond & Nalin Katryan
