Ministering to those in Prison
"When I was sick and in prison, ye came unto me...."
For more than 25 years, Sherwood has had a ministry to the prisoners at the Federal Correctional Institute at El Reno. Bro. Brown travels to El Reno each Thursday for a Bible study with men who are serving sentences for federal crimes. Although the other church members are not allowed to attend the Bible study, the whole church participates in the ministry through prayer for the inmates. By God's grace, we have seen prisoners set free in Christ and established in sound doctrine.
